The Jeffrey A. Reed Memorial Fund was founded by family and friends of Jeff, who was killed in Iraq in 2009. The fund exists for those who may not have had the opportunity to know Jeff, but who embody the strength, character, and ideals of this brave young man we knew as a son and brother.

New Scholarship Awarded

Congratulations to the 2014 scholarship recipient, Alex Cejka. Alex is a graduate of the engineering program at Bird High School. He finished with an impressive 4.7 GPA and will attend Virginia Tech this fall to study architecture.

4th Annual 5k and One Mile Fun Run

Join us for the 4th Annual 5K to benefit the Jeffrey A. Reed Memorial Fund! We'll be out at L.C. Bird High School again this year for a morning of fun and remembrance.

This year's race will feature many vendors, face painting, a corn hole tournament, music and special guest MC Tony Booth from Big Oldies 107.3. Bring the whole family out for this fun event! details

We have seen firsthand the need for support of our military community, specifically veterans and wounded warriors of our Armed Forces. We hope that with our work, Jeff's legacy will continue despite the hole that is left when America and families lose a soldier. about the fund
